Barbora completed her Master’s degree in Physiotherapy in 2020 at the Second Faculty of Medicine, Charles Universityand has since been continuously engaged in clinical practice as well as further professional education.
After graduation, she joined the Department of Rehabilitation at Motol University Hospital, where she works under the supervision of Pavel Kolář. Here, she gains valuable experience working with adult patients presenting a wide range of conditions, from neurological and spinal disorders to orthopedic and musculoskeletal diagnoses.
At the same time, she is involved in teaching physiotherapy and general medicine students at the Second Faculty of Medicine, including international students. In her teaching, she emphasizes the integration of theoretical knowledge with everyday clinical practice.
Her professional focus includes pelvic floor dysfunction and viscerosomatic relationships. This specialization has led her to become part of the teaching team for Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS). In her clinical work, she applies an individual and empathetic approach, encouraging active patient involvement.
In therapy, she integrates knowledge from a range of professional courses. She combines elements of DNS, Vojta Reflex Locomotion in adult patients, the method of Ludmila Mojžíšová, as well as soft tissue techniques and joint mobilization approaches according to Karel Lewit.
