Prokop Havrda, MPT

Prokop completed his Master’s degree in Physiotherapy at the Second Faculty of Medicine, Charles University in Prague. During his studies, he participated in the ERASMUS program in Cologne at the German Sport University, where he also undertook an internship at UniReha, focusing on the treatment of rare pediatric bone disorders.


During his graduate studies, he joined the pediatric department of the Clinic of Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine at the Second Faculty of Medicine and Motol University Hospital. There, he gained experience in pediatric oncology, neurology, neonatology, and inpatient rehabilitation. In collaboration with the Neuromuscular Centre at Motol University Hospital, he focused on respiratory physiotherapy for children with neuromuscular disorders.

He was also actively involved in both theoretical and practical teaching at the Second Faculty of Medicine, including supervising students’ final theses.


He currently works with both pediatric and adult patients in outpatient settings at Fyzio pod Brdy (Mníšek pod Brdy) and at the Prague-based clinic Rehaton Ltd.


As part of his postgraduate education, he has completed a number of specialized courses, including: Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization according to Kolář, Diagnostics and Therapy of Functional Musculoskeletal Disorders, Vojta Reflex Locomotion in Pediatrics, Physiotherapy Preceptorship Training SMA (UMC Utrecht), Interdisciplinary Course in Palliative and End-of-Life Care (Artevelde, Ghent), Rehabilitation of Spastic Paresis, Respiratory Physiotherapy, and Oncological Rehabilitation.

He is currently furthering his education in the concept of Fascial Manipulation according to Stecco.
